"今天，我高兴地同大家一起，参加这次将成为我国历史上为了争取自由而举行的最伟大的示威集会。
一百年前，一位伟大的美国人签署了解放黑奴宣言，今天我们就是在他的雕像前集会。这一庄严宣言犹如灯塔的光芒，给千百万在那摧残生命的不义之火中受煎熬的黑奴带来了希望。它之到来犹如欢乐的黎明，结束了束缚黑人的漫漫长夜。
然而一百年后的今天，我们必须正视黑人还没有得到自由这一悲惨的事实。一百年后的今天，在种族隔离的镣铐和种族歧视的枷锁下，黑人的生活备受压榨。一百年后的今天，黑人仍生活在物质充裕的海洋中一个穷困的孤岛上。一百年后的今天，黑人仍然萎缩在美国社会的角落里，并且意识到自己是故土家园中的流亡者。今天我们在这里集会，就是要把这种骇人听闻的情况公诸于众。

上小学的时候，我自认为很有音乐天赋，所及想做一名音乐家，后来我发现这太不现实了。然后看到了神舟五号升天了，我就想做一个宇航员。再后来发现当宇航员也不和实际了。现在，我只想做一个好学生，努力学好电气自动化这个专业，两年后能找到一份不错的工作，那就是万幸了。我的梦想也在随着时间的推移而不断萎缩。这是为什么呢?因为当今社会说梦想的人多，而作梦想的人少。要想让自己的梦想实现，就要持之以恒的去行动。要不然到最后，梦想还是梦想。
其实梦想更应该是一个人对自己一生的承诺。我们必须严肃认真地去面对它、实践它。走入大学，我们选择了电气自动化这个热门专业，既然选择了，就要全力以赴的学好它。一个人要想在社会中更好的生活，就要掌握一门谋生的技能。把电气自动化这门课学精，学好是非常必要的。不要让“毕业意味着事业”落在我们头上。尽管走出大学校门的大多数学生是平庸的，少数学生是成功的，我真心的希望那少数学生中就有我们在座的每一位。
我觉得我们要对自己的未来有一个规划。以更好的想梦想目标进发。我是一个农村来的孩子，我的一个长远的梦想目标就是不再贫穷。“生在农村不是我们的错，死在农村才是我们的悲哀”。在这里，有三句好我愿意与大家共勉：如果贫穷是命运，我愿意去改变命运!如果贫穷是挑战，我愿意去迎接挑战!如果贫穷是耻辱，我愿意去洗刷耻辱!
